Poppy Project honours Bourke diggers

The centenary of Remembrance Day will be honoured by the Bourke community with 267 hand-made red poppies created for the event.

Remembrance Day is commemorated on November 11, and this year, every one of the 267 Bourke citizens who served in the World War I will be honoured with one of the handmade poppies.
