Former Bourkeites make their mark in an extraordinary range of endeavours and the success of Jacquelene Brotherton is evidence that coming from a small tight-knit community can give you the tools you need to go far.

Jacquelene has been recognised with two major industry awards this year and the former Bourke High School student is now one of the trucking industry’s most powerful leaders.

Jacquelene has forged a path for other women who might choose to work in a non-traditional female role and she credits her supportive Bourke family and the close community with giving her the confidence to follow her passion.
