Thomas makes the trip from Ollerup to the Outback

The small Danish town of Fare is a very long way from Bourke, but 25 year old gymnastics coach Thomas Manbjerg has made the marathon trip to take up a position as the PCYC’s new gymnastic coach.

Thomas trained as a performance gymnast in Denmark, specialising in tumbling, mini-trampette and rhythmical gymnastics. He was at a training school on the island of Ollerup when he was offered the opportunity to take part in a program to coach oversees for six months.
