Main street upgrade begins

After months of planning and community input, work has begun on a major upgrade of Bourke’s main street.

The work includes tree planting, extra street furniture, installation of large garden trellises and construction of three raised walkways crossing the street.

The aim is to beautify the main street, and to make it more accessible.Read more in the printed edition of the Western Herald.
