Bourke Shire Council Mayor Barry Hollman says he was ‘disappointed’ with the organisation of the Prime Minister’s visit to Trangie this week.
Malcolm Turnbull was touring the area to talk to farmers and other stakeholders about the impact of drought, but Mayor Hollman says short notice and a lack of time meant the local mayors had little chance of putting any issues in front of the PM.
