Congratulations to Darling River Local Area Command’s Domestic Violence Liaison Officer Senior Constable Belinda Hurst who has been named the 2017 Domestic Violence Practitioner of the Year.

Senior Constable Hurst and the local DV team have been instrumental in the implementation of initiatives such as Operation Solidarity, which is helping to reduce domestic violence reoffending. Legal action rate for domestic violence has also improved significantly across the Darling River Local Area Command.
